Treatment Process
Porcelain fillings are not directly applied to the tooth like traditional fillings. First, the dentist cleans the damaged area and takes an impression. A custom ceramic filling is then prepared in the laboratory according to the patient’s tooth structure and color. The filling is bonded to the tooth with special adhesives, providing a long-lasting restoration.
Inlay fillings cover only a specific part of the chewing surface, while onlay fillings cover a larger area, restoring most of the tooth’s surface.
